Delivery Notifications

Learn about the email notifications you and your customer will receive for delivery orders.

πŸ“Œ The following is only applicable for delivery orders.

In this article:

1. What are delivery notifications?

Delivery notifications are important email notifications pushed to you and your customers at different stages of a delivery order.

Basic delivery notifications pushed to you:

  1. Assigning Driver - When you have made a delivery request and your logistics partner is assigning a driver.

  2. Driver Assigned - When a driver has been assigned.

Additional delivery notifications pushed to you and your customers:

  1. Driver on the way - When a driver has picked up the order and is on the way to the customer

  2. Driver delivered - When an order is successfully marked as delivered by the driver.

 πŸ’‘ When an order is marked as delivered by a driver (Driver delivered), an
Order's Order Status will automatically be updated to Fulfilled / Completed

How it works:

πŸ“Œ The "Driver Delivered" email to customers (Step 8) will only be available
for merchants who are not integrated with Lalamove as their logistics
partner.

For merchants integrated with Lalamove, only merchants will receive "Driver Delivered" email and order status will be automatically updated to "Fulfilled".

2. Who will receive these delivery notifications?

For Merchants who are integrated with LalaMove as their logistics partner:

  • Merchants will be able to receive basic delivery notifications

  • Merchants and their customers will be able to receive additional delivery notifications

For Merchants who are using other logistic partners:

  • Merchants will be able to receive only basic delivery notifications

πŸ“Œ Additional delivery notifications are only available for merchants who are integrated with LalaMove as their delivery partner.

3. How can you enable/disable these order statuses?

By default, it is enabled for all merchants using LalaMove's logistics service.
