Getting Started

How to enable or disable email notifications to customers:

Under Notifications tab, you can disable or edit email notifications to customers.

There are 5 system-generated emails that can be automated on Oddle, where you can choose between Enabled/Disabled, and edit each of them individually. The Header Title, Subject, and Body can be customized. These emails are sent to your customers after a certain action or button is triggered:

1. Order Pending Message

This message will be sent to your customer after he/she has successfully checked out from your online ordering platform.

2. Order Confirmed Message

This message will be sent to your customer after you have confirmed his/her order.

3. Order Fulfilled Message

This message will be sent to your customer after you have fulfilled their order.

📌 Order Fulfilled Message will not be sent for delivery orders using
Oddle's third party logistics providers.

4. Order Cancelled Message

This message will be sent to your customer after you have cancelled their order.

5. Order Summary Message

This message will be sent to your customer after you have clicked the Email button in the order on the dashboard to send him/her the order summary.

How Notification Works

The following shows the default notifications your customer and you usually receive after your customer places an order on your online ordering platform:

Thus, a customer will receive an Order Pending Message, Order Confirmation Message and Order Fulfilled Message. You can choose to disable any of the above notification by toggling off Email under the respective message.

Auto-Confirmation of Order

If you would like to send your customers an Order Confirmation Message immediately after they check out from your online ordering platform, you can do so by shifting the message contents from the Order Confirmation Message to the Order Pending Message.

You can follow these steps to do so:

1. Click on the pencil icon to edit the Header Title, Subject and Body template for Order Pending Message to that of an Order Confirmation Message.

2. Toggle off Order Confirmation Message.

This means that your customer will receive an email that contains the Order Confirmation Message's content when they checked out from your online ordering platform, after paying.
