How to issue rewards from your receipts?
ℹ️ Before you can start issuing rewards from your receipts, you'll first need to have a redeemable campaign set up. To learn more about how to set up your redeemable campaign, check out the article here.
1. Create a point-of-sale engagement
Log into your merchant dashboard.
From your merchant dashboard, navigate to Channels > Terminal.
Click on the "Set Up Now" button to start creating your point-of-sale engagement.
ℹ️ If you already have existing point-of-sale engagements, you can create another engagement by clicking on the "Add new point-of-sale engagement".
2. Select your redeemable campaign
The redeemable campaign determines the reward that your customers will receive.
ℹ️ For a redeemable campaign to be valid for issuance, the campaign should have no limits on claims or redemptions.
Click on the dropdown to display your list of redeemable campaigns that can be issued on your Terminal device.
Select the redeemable campaign that you want to issue.
Configure the SMS and email that will be sent to your customers whenever they claim the redeemable.
Once you're done configuring your redeemable, click "Next: Receipt details".
3. Set up receipt display details
Fill in the display text that describes the redeemable item. This will be visible to customers on the receipt. A preview of how the text will appear is provided.
Once you've completed the description text, click "Next: Set criteria".
4. Set up issuance criteria
You can configure conditions that allow only customers who meet certain criteria to be issued a redeemable.
Select a rule for issuing the redeemable.
If you select "minimum purchase by amount", you can configure the value that a transaction needs to reach before the redeemable is issued.
Select the store(s) to which the rule needs to be applied. Each store can only have one criterion assigned to it.
Once you have set up the issuance criteria, press "Next: Summary".
ℹ️ Currently, you can only configure whether a redeemable is issued based on amount spent by customer. We are looking to support more conditions in future
5. Summary
Review and finalise your point-of-sale engagement details:
Take a final look at the receipt details and the redeemable that is offered.
Once you are satisfied with the setup, click "Save and Continue". You can always edit the point-of-sale engagement details again later.
