The new and improved analytics module consisting of new reports allows merchants to view and download reports more easily and conveniently.

General FAQs

Q. How can analytics help my restaurant business?

  • Boost customer loyalty: Profile and understand your customers better to improve the relationship.

  • Improve marketing: Measure the successes of marketing campaigns or tailor them to individual customer segments

  • Create higher-margin menus: Gain a better grasp on what is or isn’t selling, and how to make your menu more profitable.

  • Reduce food waste: Order necessary supplies according to sales

  • Optimise staffing schedule: Anticipate trends and plan your staffing schedule better.

Q. How can I access the new analytics module?

We will progressively roll out this feature to our merchants and no action is required by you. If you will like to receive access to this feature earlier, you may consult your account manager or the Support Team and request for the feature to be enabled for your account. This feature will thereafter replace the current analytics page on your OMS.

Once the new analytics module has been made available for your account, you may access it by logging onto the Oddle Web Dashboard > Analytics.

Q. What are the advantages of the new analytics module compared to the current one?

  • No more timeout issue when downloading a large data file

  • Availability of new reports such as Customer by Sales

Q. What can be done from the new analytics module?

Q. Am I able to filter the view?

Yes. For the available filters, kindly refer to the "Functions available on" under each section.

Q. Why is my data not showing correctly?

Kindly note that it will take approximately 20-30 minutes to sync the updated details.


Overview - Summary

This page provides a quick summary of the menu, with a breakdown of the performance by stores.

  • Total Sales refers to the total amount received for an order. This is inclusive of delivery fees and taxes and after the deduction of discounts.

    The Total Sales Overview consists of the following charts:
    1. Sales by Shops
    2. Sales Over Time
    3. Sales Breakdown by Days

  • Visitors refers to the number of users that landed on your Oddle Shop site.
    📌 This is different from session.

    The Visitors Overview consists of the following charts:
    1. Visitors (Shops Overview)
    2. Visitors Overview
    3. Visitors Breakdown By Days

  • Orders refer to the total number of orders received.

    The Orders Overview consists of the following charts:
    1. Orders By Shops
    2. Orders Over Timeline
    3. Orders Breakdown By Days

Functions available on Overview:

1. The Data Type and Date Range filter allows you to view the sales of the selected menu by the delivered on or submitted on dates.


Visitor Acquisition

i. Overview

Overview shows where the number of overall traffic into the cart came from, either by Visitor or by Sessions. Also, you may view the breakdown of traffic by referrer.

📌 Others refer to a group that belongs to your own sites or blogs, which
cannot be easily classified into the main groups.

📌 Unknown, which is a drilldown of Others, refers to a group where there is
insufficient information.

ii. Traffic Over Time

This report is a breakdown of the traffic into its referrer. Over time, you will be able to observe the amount of traffic brought in by the respective sources.

  • Traffic Over Time is a stacked graph, consisting of all components.

  • Traffic over time of Individual Components is an unstacked graph whereby the components are not stacked. This allows you to view each of these components separately.

💡 You can filter the dates to the period during which ads and promotions
were ran to check if there was an increase in traffic.

Functions available on Visitor Acquisition:

1. The Store Filter allows you to filter the Inventory list by Store.

2. The Traffic Type and Date Range filter allows you to view the traffic either by Visitor or by Sessions, based on the selected dates.

iii. Conversion Funnel (NEW!)

The funnel shows the journey which customers take from landing on your Oddle Shop to completing a transaction, giving insight into the conversion rate at each step of the ordering process.

The values are measured by the number of sessions and percentage of sessions that resulted in a transaction.


Sales

i. Overview

This dashboard shows the high-level metrics of the menu.

📌 This report is by menu level.
  • Total Sales refers to the total revenue. This is inclusive of delivery fees and taxes, and after the deduction of discounts (if applicable).

  • Average Order Value refers to Total Sales over Number of Orders

  • Sales by Order Value refers to the breakdown of orders based on basket sizes.

ii. Sales Over Timeline

This report shows the details of the sales, broken down into their respective components:

  • Gross Sales refers to the sum of the subtotal amounts of orders.

  • Discounts refer to the values Values from promotions
    📌 This does not include the value of free items.

  • Delivery Fees refer to the sum of all delivery fees paid by customers.

  • Tax refers to the sum of all taxes and charges paid by customers.

iii. Sales By Product/Category

This report shows the breakdown of sales from the product and category.

  • Discounted items will contribute at their discounted value.
    For example, items sold at 50% of their value, will only contribute 50% of their value to "Total Sales from Items"

🚨 Free Items are counted in Total Quantity. but in Total Sales, these items
will not contribute to any value.

iv. Sales by Promotion

This report shows the number of redemption per promotion as well as the Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) from these orders. This allows you to know which specific promo code is the most effective in a campaign.

Functions available on Sales:

1. The Store Filter allows you to filter the Inventory list by Store.

2. The Data Type and Date Range filter allows you to view the sales of the selected menu by the delivered on or submitted on dates.


Inventory - Over Timeline

An inventory report allows you to view what is needed to be prepared for the day.

Item information displayed in the Item Breakdown Report is based on the following criteria:

  1. Only items with Confirmed order status will be displayed.
    Items with Pending or Delivered order status will not be displayed.
    📌 Even if you filter to a custom date range, if the item is no longer under
    the Confirmed tab today, it will not appear on the Item Breakdown Report.

  2. Only items of a selected store, segregated by Delivery Date (Range) or Submitted on Date (Range).

Functions available on Inventory over Timeline:

1. The Store Filter allows you to filter the Inventory list by Store.

2. The Data Type and Date Range filter allows you to view the itemised breakdown of all orders by the delivered on or submitted on dates.


Customer - by Sales

This page shows all the customers for an account, regardless of whether the customer has made an order previously.

  • Number of Days Since Last Purchase refers to the number of days since the customer last made a purchase on the account.

  • Number of Orders refers to the number of orders a customer made since signing up.

  • Total Amount Spent refers to the amount of money spent on the account since signing up. This value is the sum of the whole order, including delivery fee and taxes.

Functions Available on Customer - by Sales:

1. The Data Type and Date Range filter allows you to view the sales of the selected menu by the delivered on or submitted on dates.


How to download reports?

Downloading Report as PDF or PNG

At the top right-hand corner of the report, click Export and select PDF or PNG.

Downloading Report as Excel or CSV

At the top right-hand corner of the report, click the Gear icon, and select Excel or CSV.

Downloaded Table Format

Data downloaded for tables will be as is. For Pivot Tables, download as Excel.
