What is Oddle Pass?

Oddle Pass is a streamlined login solution allowing customers to access Oddle Shops with a single set of credentials. It reduces the effort required for customers to enter personal information and sign up, enhancing the ease of making a purchase.



🎉 NEW! Phone number login for Oddle Pass

Customers can now log in to Oddle Shop and Oddle Eats web via their phone number and receive a secure OTP for authentication. They can choose to resend the OTP code after 2 minutes if they did not receive the OTP.

This feature aims to make logging in easier and quicker, especially when dining in. The idea is to make it as simple as possible to use Oddle services on your customer’s mobile device. Traditional login methods, like using an email and password, can sometimes be cumbersome. But with this new password-free login, you customers won't have to remember a password or fill in contact details to create an account. This ensures that accessing Oddle services is not only faster, but also a delightful user experience.

Email and password login will remain an available option!


What customers will experience:

Customers can go to any restaurant in Oddle Eats. When clicking "Sign In" on Oddle Eats or in any Oddle Shop, customers can choose to enter their phone number.

Customers can key in their phone number and then click on 'Sign Up'. They'll be asked to key in a 6-digit one-time pin or OTP that is valid for 120 seconds.


Frequently Asked Questions

How can a customer login if they are unable to receive the OTP?

Customers can still log in via email address and password. They may be asked to verify their number but there will be an option of “I’ll do it later”.


What happens if a customer has multiple email addresses tied to the same phone number?

If a customer has multiple Oddle Pass accounts, each created using a different email address but the same phone number, they need to choose which email account will be associated with their phone number. After making a selection during login, the chosen email will be linked to their phone number. From then on, whenever they use their phone number to sign in, they will be automatically directed to the Oddle Pass account associated with that phone number.


How will Oddle Pass benefit my customers?

Without the need to sign up at every new Oddle Shop, customers can log in to place an order directly. They no longer need to remember multiple logins for each Oddle Shop.


How will Oddle Pass benefit me as a restaurant?

A faster login process attracts more customers, potentially increasing orders for your Oddle Shop.


Will my customers' data be shared with other restaurants?

No, customer data remains exclusive to the restaurant where the customer logs in.


How can new customers remember their Oddle Pass credentials?

When attempting to log in, the customer is shown the Oddle Pass logo to indicate that they can log in with Oddle Pass here (see screenshot below). Additionally, they will receive an email upon successful login at each Oddle Shop with Oddle Pass. These are meant to help them remember their login credentials used for Oddle Pass when trying to log in.


What if customers forget their Oddle Pass credentials?

If customers cannot remember their Oddle Pass credentials, they can click on the "Reset Password" option to receive a link for resetting their password.


Does creating a customer account through the Admin Dashboard override Oddle Pass?

No, it will not. The customer will be able to log in to your Oddle Shop using Oddle Pass and use the account that you have created for them separately.


Can customers log in with the same email used for Facebook login?

Yes, customers can use both Oddle Pass and Facebook login if the feature is enabled for your Oddle Shop.
