4. Indicate purpose of usage for the Stripe account
Answer a quick survey on how you intend to use the Stripe account for your business.
5. Register a business representative
5a. Manual registration
If you do not wish to retrieve your information automatically via SINGPASS, manually key in the first and last name of the authorised representative who will manage your company's bank account. This person should match the identity verification later.
Complete the rest of the form providing the email address, job title, nationality, date of birth, home address, phone number and NRIC of the authorised representative who will manage your company's bank account.
5b. Retrieve MyInfo with SINGPASS
For a quick and easy retrieval of the information required, you can opt for the SINGPASS login. Enter the NRIC of the authorised representative who will manage your company's bank account.
6. Verify ID of the registered business representative
Upload a picture of an identity document (driver's license, identity card, passport, work permit/pass) that matches the details of the authorised representative who will manage your company's bank account.
Tip: We highly recommend not to click on "Skip for now" at this stage as this will extend the verification process of your account which may then pause any payouts from being disbursed to your bank account.
Reminder: Ensure that the registration name submitted matches the name stated in the verification document.
7. Add your business bank account for payouts
Enter the details of the bank account where the payouts should be disbursed to.
8. Review business details and submit
Ensure ALL business information and documents are submitted and verified during registration. This is to avoid having to submit these documents later which may disrupt your disbursements.
Note: Remember to select the store that should be assigned to the Stripe account you created. All stores should be assigned to a Stripe account. If a store is not assigned to any Stripe account, an error will occur at checkout for the customer if their order is assigned to a store with a missing link to a Stripe account.
