Tags
Tags can be reservation-specific (Reservation Tags) or customer-specific (Customer Tags). There will be example tags seeded into every merchants account but merchants ultimately can delete them or create their own.
A Customer Tag relates to a customer and their tag will follow the customer independent of the reservation. Such tags could be like “Seafood Allergy” or “Vegetarian” or “VVVIP”. In doing so, you and your floor staff will always know this thing about a customer
A Reservation Tag relates to the reservation itself and if the reservation is tagged this time, it wouldn’t show again for the next reservation. Such tags could be like “Booked by Shareholder” or “Complimentary Champagne” where you and your floor staff would know to provide certain attention to the guest just for this reservation
Each account has the following example tags populated to give you an idea of how you can use tags. You may freely continue using the populated tags or delete them and create your own.
