How to resolve errors when connecting to the NFC reader on the Terminal app

If you encounter the following error messages while trying to connect to the NFC reader on your Terminal App, please follow the steps below on how to troubleshoot and resolve them.

`Could not connect to Stripe. Please retry.`

`ATTESTATION_FAILURE (req_Q1omibwsteyMD4): THis reader is no longer supported. Please contact us via https://support.stripe.com/contact with details, so we can help.`

`API_CONNECTION_ERROR (null)`

Steps on how to resolve the above-mentioned errors:

  1. Go to the Settings on your SUNMI or Android device.

  2. Tap on Apps and Notifications.

  3. Locate the Oddle Terminal app and tap on it.

  4. Tap on Storage and Cache, then select Clear Storage.

  5. Tap Yes on the confirmation pop-up to delete the app's storage.

  6. Reopen the Oddle Terminal app.

  7. If you need to generate a new device code to connect the NFC reader, please contact our Product Support Team. You can reach them via the Telegram group chat or by messaging us at help.oddle.me.
