How to pair the printer with Oddle Register on iPad

Step 1

Log in to the Oddle Register App with your employee account.

Step 2

Click on the Gear icon at the bottom-left corner of the Oddle Register screen.

Step 3

Under "Printer Settings", click on "Setup Thermal Printer". Choose your printer's IP address > select "Epson" > select preferred language.

At this step, please ensure that your Oddle Register app has local network settings enabled. This will help the app discover and connect to devices (such as your printer) on the networks you use. If are unable to see your printer's IP address, navigate to your iPad's "Settings" > "Oddle Register" > "Local Network". Enable this toggle.

If your menu items consist of Chinese characters (or a combination of English words and Chinese characters), please select "Chinese (Simplified)" or "Chinese (Traditional)" where appropriate.

Step 4 (Optional)

If you would like to pair a second printer with your Oddle Register (i.e. printer for your kitchen), click on "Setup Kitchen Printer". Choose your kitchen printer's IP address > select "Epson" > select preferred language.

Step 5 (Optional)

If you would like the receipts of newly submitted orders to print automatically, click on the Gear icon at the bottom-left corner of your Oddle Register screen. Scroll to the Auto Print Settings and enable this toggle.

Auto-printing will only work for the second printer if both printers' IP addresses are connected under "Setup Thermal Printer" and "Setup Kitchen Printer". If you are only pairing 1 printer with your Oddle Register (even if it is for the kitchen only), please connect its IP Address under "Setup Thermal Printer" for auto-printing to work.
