A. Why update Google Play Services for Oddle Register
Oddle Register App on SUNMI relies on Google Play Services for:
Push notifications
App crash analytics
The minimum required Google Play Services version to run the Oddle Register is v22.XX.
If the version of Google Play Services installed on a SUNMI device is older than the minimum required version, attempting to open the Oddle Register will result in an error message. The message "Google Play Services is required to run this application. Please update." will appear on the screen.
B. How to resolve the issue
Step 1: Clear cache & data from Google Play Services and Google Play Store
Open Settings on your SUNMI device.
Go to Apps > Google Play Services.
Tap Storage.
Clear cache and manage space to clear all data.
Repeat steps for Google Play Store
Step 2: Reboot SUNMI device
Step 3: Update app versions for Google Play Store and Google Play Services
Open Google Play Store on your SUNMI device.
Tap the 3 dots (top-right) > Settings > About > Update Play Store.
Go back to the home screen of the Google Play Store.
Tap Updates > Update Google Play Services.
Note: If 3 dots are not visible, relaunch the app.
After successfully completing these steps, you will be able to launch the Oddle Register!
